FCC Freedom Workshop—Relational Reading!

Such a sweet sweet night of Worship and God’s Word❤️

Joel Hostler I’m grateful for your gift of music and very specifically for your heart of worship!  I’m thankful the Holy Spirit inspired you to write this song🙌

When I rise, be my portion Lord.  Sanctify my heart and make it yours.  Cause I don’t want to falter, I don’t want to fail.  Lord, I want my soul to stand in freedom. (From I Want To Be Holy)

Purify, my dark and lonely Spirit.  Clear my eyes, so I can live and see it.  Don’t want to be a stranger, don’t want to be a fool.  Lord I want to be yours,  and be faithful. (From I Want To Be Holy)

I want to be Holy, Holy, Holy like you are...I want to be Holy, Holy, Holy like You Are. (From I Want To Be Holy)

I want to be Worthy, Worthy, to stand before you Lord...I want to be Holy, Holy, like you are Lord. (From I want to be Holy)

RELATIONAL READING

One of my favorite parts of the Freedom Workshop is when we get to learn and practice Relational reading.  It takes your bible and brings it to LIFE!

My favorite part of the whole evening was when we relationally read through Psalm 139...women were sobbing as HIS word penetrated our hearts.

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.  You know what I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
—Psalm 139:1-2

Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.
—Psalm 139:4

“I Praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
—Psalm 139:14

Your eyes saw my unformed Boyd; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
—Psalm 139:16

How precious to me are your thoughts, God!  How vast is the sum of them!”
—Psalm 139:17

Another highlight of my night...Noelle sharing her take-away from reading the Word this week.

God is raising up our teens to know Him so they can make him known.

I’m grateful for our tech team...we couldn’t do what we do without them!

JoEtta’s testimony at the end gave great glory to God.  Her humble, authentic, testimony pointed us to the CROSS!

Have a GREAT week...I can’t wait to see you next Sunday!
