Native American Poem By Colton Arnold


Native Americans

While they’re riding on their horses, their fluttering feathers are flapping up and down in the air.

Their eyes are carefully observing the white man as he rows his boat to the shore.

Their legs begin to burn as they tightly grip the sides of their horse.

Their arms are cautiously holding their bows to their sides.

They are whispering their observations to one another.

And now.... they prepare to greet the white men.
