Tragedy- Saying Goodbye too soon

Our family was devasted this morning by the news that my 23 year old soon-to-be brother-in-law was shot and killed by St.Petersburg police.  To hear the pain in my sisters voice as she called to tell me that Ronnie had died was excruciating.  Our day has been filled with lots of tears and long moments of quiet as we soak in the shock.  I am so thankful that we serve a God who lovingly walks beside us and offers a peace that passes all understanding.

Please be in prayer for my younger sister and my 10 year old nephew.  They witnessed the shooting and are reeling from the sights and sounds that they encountered.

Our family continues to pray for all those involved in this horrible, senseless tragedy.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.- Psalm 34:18
