Welcome To "Shining For HIS Glory"!

 It's my brand new blog home! 

This has been a bittersweet transition. After several years of blogging over on homeschoolblogger I have decided to make the switch to Blogger!  

There are simply more options.  

a)  I am able to have the blog professionally printed as our families journal.  That is very important to me.  I love to go back five years ago on my other blog and see how little my boys were, but it breaks my heart to know that I have no way of making those memories last in print.

b) I also found that when homeschool blogger upgraded I was not able to find a font that made me happy and discovered my motivation to write was greatly diminished.  Blogger allows me to be a little more "FUN" and "FESTIVE".

The purpose of "Shining For His Glory" is to record one moms journey through life, mistakes and all!

"I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: FORGETTING THE PAST AND LOOKING FORWARD TO WHAT LIES AHEAD,  I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us."  Phil 3:12-14
